A unique penetration test instrument that plots measured force directly against depth on graph paper.
The penetrograph is a unique instrument used to determine the penetration resistance (bearing capacity) and compaction of soil. What sets it apart is that it plots the measured forces directly against depth on graph paper. The penetrograph's measurement range extends up to 5000 kN/m² (=5 MPa) and it can measure to a depth of 80 cm.
The standard set includes various penetration cones, probe rods, special pens for the recorder and graph paper. Spare parts, the user manual, a cone check tool and accessories are supplied together with the complete set in an aluminum carrying and transport case. Every penetrograph is delivered with a quality test report.
