Dual Wall CoreBarrel Sampler
A core sampler for diverse formations, whose dual-wall design prevents fines from being washed out.
The Dual Wall CoreBarrel Sampler has an annular gap in its body, which allows a medium to be used without washing out fine material.
Front- or side-discharge versions are available for the ring bit choice; the front-discharge version is used in homogeneous hard formations, while the side-discharge version is used in mixed formations and to prevent fine material from being washed out. A casing pipe prevents the borehole from collapsing while the sampler is emptied. Cores are sampled directly in the core tube. The sample can be transferred to a polyethylene foil tube, plastic troughs or a core box.
The Dual Wall CoreBarrel Sampler is now available in different diameters and lengths.
