A powerful sonic drill rig equipped with a 50K LargeRotoSonic head, the big sibling of the CRS family.
The LRS 275 (formerly named MRS XL MAX) is the large version of our CRS family and has a powerful 50K LargeRotoSonic drill head. Thanks to greater drilling capacity and high drilling speed, even the hardest surfaces are no challenge for this rig. The drill head optimizes penetration speed through simultaneous vibration and rotation; it has an adjustable true 150 Hz frequency and comes standard with an automatic drill rod manipulator that handles pipes without manual contact.
It can be used across a wide range of applications, including mineral sampling, environmental research, geotechnical sampling and testing, geo-construction drilling and seismic drilling. Besides the sonic head, a DUO version is also available that combines sonic sampling with diamond drilling in the same borehole. It is offered in two variants, Pro and Royal.
