This stainless-steel core sampler, with sample tubes and cutting head, allows undisturbed soil samples to be taken in a liner, by applying a shock-absorbing hammer or down-the-hole hammer — suited to hard soils. The liner facilitates sample removal and storage without disturbing it; samples remain in the liner for transport and field observation, and the liner also absorbs volatiles.
Packed in an aluminium transport case.
