Data Acquisition Hardware & Software

The data acquisition system provides all the functions needed to perform cone penetration testing (CPT). At its heart is the Geologger, which can be powered by 12 or 24 VDC, or 110 or 230 VAC. The Geologger powers the connected CPT cone and collects the data it produces.

If the incoming data streams are analog, the Geologger converts them to digital data. All data is combined with the relevant sensor outputs before being transferred to a Windows computer. The GeoExplorer software gives the operator options to view the acquired test data in real time and to save it.
