Multisampler — Rod-Operated, 5 m

This Multisampler is used for undisturbed sediment core sampling in relatively soft sediment (with a cutting ring) and watery sediment (with a ball valve). It enables rapid, undisturbed sample collection from wet, solid and fluid materials. Samples are contained in a transparent tube for immediate visual inspection and profile description; a stationary piston prevents layer compaction during sampling.

Operated via extension rods that push the sample into the collection tube. The sampling tube is quickly changeable and easy to decontaminate, allowing accurate depth sampling without mixing upper layers, and even mix-sampling within a single procedure.
